TWHYA High Point Program

1. Exhibitor must be a TWHYA member in good standing.

2. Points will be tabulated from Jan. through Oct. of each year and begin with the date of registration on file and the TWHBEA office.

3. There will be two divisions; 11 and Under and 17 and Under.

4. The points accumulate on the rider not the horse.

5. TWHYA member does not need to own the horse he/she rides however, the owner must be a TWHBEA member in good standing.

6. Points will be awarded on a 10 to 1 scale, with 10 points being awarded for first, nine for second and so with one point awarded for a tenth place finish.

7. Double points will be awarded at the World Versatility Show and the TWHBEA Futurity.

8. Participants are responsible for maintaining their own TWHYA High Point Record Book. Pages may be downloaded from TWHBEA.com.

9. The TWHYA High Point Record Book must be postmarked by Nov. 1st and mailed to the address below, to be considered for High Point.

10. Misrepresentation of facts on your High Point Book will result in nullification of the entire year’s points.

11. All sanctioned horse shows will count toward high point awards regardless of HIO, excluding Academy classes.

12. Points must be won under a licensed judge. The judge’s name and licensing organization must be listed on your High Point Record Book.

13. Class lists with the signature and phone number of the show chair from the shows where you have competed must accompany your High Point Record Book.

14. The following classes may be counted toward High Points for the 17 & Under and 11 & Under Divisions:

f. Youth Model
g. 12 – 17 Showmanship
h. 12 – 17 English Equitation
i. 12 – 17 Stock Seat Equitation
j. 17 & Under Park Pleasure
k. 17 & Under Lite Shod
l. 17 & Under Trail Pleasure
m.17 & Under Country Pleasure
n. 17 & Under Dressage
o. 17 & Under Obstacle Trail
p. 17 & Under Western Riding
q. 17 & Under Reining
r. 17 & Under Over Fences
s. 17 & Under Pleasure Driving
t. 17 & Under Pole Bending
u. 17 & Under Barrel Racing

An overall youth high point will be awarded.
