William Warren "Bill" Gill Jr.
William Warren “Bill” Gill, Jr. passed away Friday, November 5th, at his home.
A native of Lincoln County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Warren, Sr. and Cooper Rice Gill, employed with NASA as an engineering technician, a farmer, and a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church. He was also a past president of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Collier Gill of Petersburg; sons, Warren Gill and wife Lissa of Murfreesboro, and Alan Gill and wife Teresa of Shelbyville; daughter, Gloria Gill Meadows and husband Doyle of Fayetteville; grandchildren, J. Alan Gill and wife Emily, Tyler Gill, William Gill, Greer Gill, Mindi Posey and husband Frank, and Caroline Meadows, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Gill.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Petersburg United Methodist Church.
